Ph.D Candidate (pre-comps) at the Department of Political Science of the Pennsylvania State University
I am a Ph.D. Candidate at the Pennsylvania State University. I am pursuing a dual-title Ph.D. in Political Science and Social Data Analytics (SoDA). My major field of study is comparative politics. I received my B.S.Sc in Government and Public Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2015 and my M.A in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick in 2016. My research interests are authoritarian politics, contentious politics, and political communication, with a regional focus of East Asia. My current research focuses on how social media impact on the patterns of both collective action and repression.
